🧂 Ingredients:

  • 100g Brown Sugar
  • 150ml water
  • 1/3 cup Dried Davidson Plum
  • 1/3 cup Dried Quandong
  • 1 Tbsp Dried Bush Tomato
  • Juice of 1 lemon or lime
  • 1 Tbsp Fish Sauce
  • Sesame oil  to taste
  • Extra juice & fish sauce to balance flavour

🥄 Method:

  1. Steep Davidson Plum, Bush Tomato & Quandong in a cup of boiled water for at least 2 hours,  the longer the better.
  2. Stir sugar and 150ml of water and simmer until a light syrup forms
  3. Add plums, quandongs, Bush tomatoes, lemon juice, fish sauce and sesame oil, simmer for 5 minutes until flavours well combined, adjust with extra lemon/lime juice, fish sauces & sesame oil!
  4. Use on braised/master stock pork, tofu, griddled chicken, poached salmon etc.
